Identified Design Issue

The threshold ramp surface will be twisted and will have an increased rise and length.

Departure from Deemed-to-Satisfy Provisions

The threshold ramp will have a length greater than 280mm and a rise exceeding 35mm due to differing levels in the doorway, along with a slight twist from the sloped footpath outside the existing doorway.

The Performance Solution

The new threshold ramp will replace the existing small step, but the existing footpath has a slope, resulting in a small twist, with the lower side requiring a threshold
ramp more than 35mm high.
